LinkedIn released Apply Connect for Workday as part of its 2026 Hiring product updates, creating a native integration that enables real-time job posting synchronization, streamlined candidate experiences through LinkedIn Apply, and direct ATS data access. The company claims the connection delivers up to three times more qualified candidates compared to standard posting methods.
The integration addresses a persistent friction point in enterprise recruiting. Organizations using Workday as their ATS have historically relied on job board scrapers, manual posting, or middleware to connect LinkedIn job visibility with their applicant tracking workflows. Apply Connect eliminates that middleware layer.
Alongside the Workday integration, LinkedIn launched a Hiring Integrations Hub that allows recruiters to discover, activate, and manage ATS and Talent CRM integrations centrally within LinkedIn Recruiter Settings. Guided support features help teams configure connections without requiring IT involvement.
Hiring Assistant also gained access to external credible data sources, including platforms like GitHub, providing “proof of work” signals directly within candidate evaluation workflows. This moves LinkedIn beyond resume and profile data into verified skill demonstration as an input to hiring decisions.
The combination of ATS integration, external credential verification, and AI-powered candidate evaluation represents LinkedIn’s strategy for the next phase of recruitment technology: removing friction at every handoff point between candidate discovery, evaluation, and hire while maintaining the data governance that enterprise customers require.
