Oracle released HCM Cloud 26B in mid-May 2026, introducing Fusion Agentic Applications as a new class of enterprise software within its human capital management suite. The release marks the first time Oracle has deployed coordinated teams of AI agents with specific roles, expertise, and decision authority built natively inside its HCM platform.
Seven agentic applications now support hiring, employee support, learning, and workforce management. In Benefits, the Benefits Certification Agent and Court Order Intake Assistant reduce manual documentation review. For recruiting, a Hiring Workspace reduces administrative overhead and shortens time to hire. AI-assisted Journey capabilities in Core HR enable workflow agents to trigger automated downstream actions across cross-border transfers, role transitions, and compliance tasks.
The 26B release also continues Oracle’s Redwood UX expansion across HCM with task-centric interface redesigns. Role-based dashboards now surface relevant actions for HR Business Partners, managers, and employees, reducing navigation steps. The release includes UK public sector compliance updates and enhanced virtual classroom management in Oracle Learning.
All agentic applications operate within existing security and governance frameworks. The agents handle routine tasks autonomously while routing exceptions, judgments, and approvals to human decision-makers.
