SAP’s first-half 2026 release for SuccessFactors went live on May 15, delivering suite-wide agentic AI and a native integration between SmartRecruiters, Employee Central, and Onboarding that creates a continuous experience from candidate to new hire.

The release expands Joule-powered assistance across recruiting, workforce administration, payroll, learning, performance, and talent development. A workforce knowledge network now delivers expert-backed global employment guidance through Joule, while intelligent Q&A in Learning provides context-aware responses from organizational content libraries.

Pay transparency insights in the People Intelligence package within SAP Business Data Cloud allow organizations to analyze compensation patterns and potential pay gaps. This directly supports compliance with evolving EU pay transparency regulations and similar requirements taking effect across multiple jurisdictions.

The talent intelligence hub receives enhanced skills governance capabilities, providing a centralized interface for managing skills, applying governance standards, and ensuring alignment across SuccessFactors solutions and partner applications. For organizations building skills-based talent strategies, this creates the connective tissue between skills data and workforce decisions.

The SmartRecruiters native integration addresses a long-standing gap where recruiting, core HR, and onboarding operated as disconnected systems. Organizations can now maintain consistency from candidate evaluation through employee setup without manual data transfers or reconciliation steps between platforms.
