Microsoft announced a Copilot Analytics Agent Dashboard entering public preview in February 2026, providing IT and HR leaders with visibility into how AI agents are being created, adopted, and consumed across the organization. The dashboard tracks agent adoption metrics, usage patterns, Copilot credit consumption, and historical retention trends. General availability is planned for late September 2026.
The Agent Dashboard addresses a governance gap that has emerged as organizations deploy Copilot agents across business functions. Without centralized tracking, IT teams lack visibility into which agents are being created, how frequently they are used, and what resources they consume. For HR leaders, the dashboard provides workforce-level intelligence on AI tool adoption patterns.
Separately, Copilot in Viva Glint now generates AI-powered summaries of employee survey results directly within Team Summary and Executive Summary reports. Managers and executives receive synthesized views of strengths, opportunities, and trends across their teams without manually reviewing raw survey data.
Microsoft also announced that the Viva Insights license requirement for manager-scoped Copilot Analytics access will be removed in mid-July 2026. Eligible managers and their delegates will access team-level AI adoption insights without requiring an assigned Viva Insights license, broadening the reach of workforce analytics data across organizational hierarchies.
Cost management insights for tracking Copilot credit usage across AI services including Cowork and WorkIQ become generally available worldwide on June 30, 2026.
